Phuket, Thailand

Wow, it’s been 14 years since my last visit in Thailand. Though I’ve never been in Phuket due to the heavy tourism I was once again overwhelmed by this fabulous country. Jumped routes directly from Bangkok to Phuket and took a cab to Hill Top Resort where I found Roger by the pool with his laptop in his .. lap.

Turns out we’re staying just 20 metres from Rogers friend Jojjes’ house. Roger (as Roger White) was the former keyboard player and Jojje (George Swanson) the former drummer in the quite famous sleaze rock band Nasty Idols from Malmö. And.. it also turns out that Jojje is one of the owners of ROCK CITY down by the end of Bangla Road. Thee coolest rock club in Thailand! Tribute acts on the scene goes to Metallica and AC/DC. With a Philippine guy sweating his brains out as Angus Young and the Swedish guy Jim as James Hetfield. We had an awesome evening at the club as Jojjes’ guests and some folks from the Swedish television channel 5 doing the Håkan Bar, and it took a while to get back in shape the morning after. But waking up to the stunning view from the hills of Patong can cure just about anything.

Momail – Wall of fame

The collection of press and media is growing, and believe me there’s more to come. Been an amazing journey so far! It’s getting late and we’ll probably join colleagues at Stures downstairs before hitting the sack. Monday and a whole week in Stockholm in front of us. Tired and longing for the family.

Yahoo!

Big drumroll…

Yahoo! is coming. A big thanks to Honour for letting us borrow the car. My back hurts now after returning from one crazy trip to IKEA where we stuffed the poor little Mazda 3 full with curtains, paintings, flowers and .. you name it. Jesper is doing his best ironing to get the wrinkles off the curtains. So it’ll at least look like they’re not brand new tomorrow when Yahoo! enters our office for their “inspection”.

Getting nervous…

Momail Kick-Off

Jetboat adventures in Stockholms skärgård. Quite a ride! Stopped for some champagne (why not) and some sunbathing on the cliffs before heading off again.

Ended up at some nice restaurant out on some island. Great eat, and great to relax with a cold beer by the fire place.

Thank you Kristina Linder for putting it all together!

The Civillains, Stockholm

Punk is on the schedule tonight for Team Momail as Daniel enters the stage with his band The Civillains.

Momail goes bowling, Stockholm

If you missed how we’re doing here in Stockholm. Here’s another post from one of our bowling sessions. Mikael and Martin watching, busy with the beer as usual 😉

The Kids and their cars, Bunkeflo Strand

I’m pretty sure I didn’t park my car outside the office today, but…

Mobilmedvetandet är helt klart bättre i öst än i väst, Sydsvenskan

Momail in todays Sydsvenskan! And at last a picture of me to show my mum. Yes I can see they decided to call me “Jonas”, but I can assure you it’s not a twin brother. Typical, as I finally made it to the local paper. Let’s hope they’ll change it.
